Yes Spring is finally here, and with Summer on the way, why not get into the spirit of things and swap your coffees and cappuccinos for a smoothie? These are available from all your favourite cafés but if you want more choice then why not try a juice bar? The ever growing trend has certainly swept through Sheffield. There’s the popular PJs and further down West Street you can find Moco and Juice. With so many flavours you’re bound to find something you like. Plus it’s all healthy stuff!
Sheffield hasn’t earned the title “England’s greenest city” just for the nearby Peak District you know. With the weather getting warmer, it’s time to make use of the city’s numerous café gardens and take those drinks outside! If you’re near the union, there’s always the gardens shared by reliably low-priced Bar One and Interval. But if you fancy venturing down Division or West Street, The Forum and BRBs both sport spacious gardens with oh so cool metallic tables and chairs. There’s also Varsity, our bar of the fortnight, which has good old fashioned park benches and parasols tucked away at the back of the venue.
